Gigabyte x670 elite detects this ram as 4800. Attempt to set it at 5200 fails. None of them work, and motherboard indicates ram failure.

I also updated the bios to build 2007 (from may 2024) before i installed the ram.
Even though it says it supports 128 gb of ram, there are no 4 stick kits for 128 gb for corsair listed on the memory support page.
I installed this kit, reset the bios, set the xmp profile to the one detected by the bios, and rebooted.

I did get two corsair 2x32gb kits to run but only at 3600 mhz for 5200 mhz kits

My compile times were cut in half compared to running the two 2x32gb kits at 3600 mhz

That probably is the reason it immediately recognized a kit released in january 2024
