Red, it's inky and it doesn't leak. Was able to use in my stamp by removing ink pad from original plastic holder an put in mine.

The original pad of this stamper has the numbers of pm40 and m14p40 on the bottom.

After years (10+) of use the ink pad actually came unglued from its tray.

It sure saves me $$ and time to not have to order another stamp because the ink pad is going dry.

Thought i was going to have to buy a new $60 bank stamp tray to fit my slide stamper.
