Pros & Cons
Pros
This is easy to use-but beware, it's heavy! The bottom feet are thick plastic, but they're the textured kind with vertical tread. It’s a tad heavy, and you’re not going to be doing any major construction work while using it.
The hydraulics on this ladder are great and make it impossible to smash your fingers. It's slow-close, so no worries about getting fingers pinched. Unlike many ladders, there's no danger of pinching your fingers when you close it up.
Comically, we have smoke alarms way up high, and if they go off during cooking, we can pull this * out of hiding and extend it up quickly enough to turn off the alarm. People still complain here that they thought it was a 12 foot ladder.
The ladder is perfect for general indoor use (for jobs that don't require the stability or load capacity of a four-point ladder) bought to use with rv to sweep off slides. Says in clear red language not for electrical work which made him very disappoi... Read More
Small, compact size makes it great to keep in an upstairs closet for safe egress in an emergency or access to the attic. Compact size also makes it easy to stow away. Easy to maneuver for most jobs around the house.
Cons
Spend a little extra and save the hassle. It slips on hardwood floor. If your fingers are in the way it would not be good. Will be asking for resolution from seller.
Highlights
Quality
It is aluminum as are most ladders these days, but the quality is noticeably higher than most.
With that being said, i am pleasantly surprised with this ladder!
That does not effect the quality of the ladder, but is worth noting so you don't get a ladder that's too short.
I see a fair number of the "recommended" reviews have confused "reach" with the height of the ladder.
Packaging/appearance
This ladder does all of that and slips perfectly behind a bookshelf so that it is out of the way.
This ladder pops up and folds back down really easily and when the steps are locked in, the ladder feels very secure.
You extend it by sliding each set of rungs from the bottom until the indicator lights on the ladder turn green on both sides.
Competitiveness
And when extended, this just about as good as a regular, full-size ladder.

I see a fair number of the 34recommended34 reviews have confused 34reach34 with the height of the ladder
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
If youre middleish height and your normal vertical reach is 634 you can reach things 12 up on the ladder
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Thats including the 70 degree lean which subtracts about 834 from your effective reach

When each segment reaches its full height that segment locks
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
You can leave some segments collapsed if you want
