Pros & Cons
Pros
Solid, not wobbly, east to extend and retract. Bottom feet are thick plastic, but they're the textured kind with vertical tread. Base has some traction so it won't slip and slide.
The hydraulics on this ladder are great and make it impossible to smash your fingers. Unlike many ladders, there's no danger of pinching your fingers when you close it up. It's safer and easier to pull down and keeps your hands pinch free.
Ladder is perfect for general indoor use (for jobs that don't require the stability or load capacity of a four-point ladder) works great for hanging pictures, painting (which i used it for), and changing light bulbs on your house. It is better for use... Read More
The listing uses ample pictures to define what they mean by an 8' ladder with a 12' reach, but people still complain here that they thought it was a 12 foot ladder. I see a fair number of the recommended reviews have confused reach with the height of ... Read More
This ladder is a great compact easy to maneuver for most jobs around the house. The compact size makes it easy to stow away.
Cons
Spend a little extra and save the hassle. It slips on hardwood floor. If your fingers are in the way it would not be good. Will be asking for resolution from seller.
Highlights
Quality
I was expecting it to be lighter, but i guess with the stability comes a bit of weight.
With that being said, i am pleasantly surprised with this ladder!
It is aluminum as are most ladders these days, but the quality is noticeably higher than most.
That does not effect the quality of the ladder, but is worth noting so you don't get a ladder that's too short.
Packaging/appearance
This ladder pops up and folds back down really easily and when the steps are locked in, the ladder feels very secure.
This ladder does all of that and slips perfectly behind a bookshelf so that it is out of the way.
You extend it by sliding each set of rungs from the bottom until the indicator lights on the ladder turn green on both sides.
Competitiveness
It's amazing how they've designed it to take up so little space.
And when extended, this just about as good as a regular, full-size ladder.
