Pros

It's just like the one i used to sit in at my grandma's house when i was little. Very handy for kids and old folks. The stamp of the bottom. Gives 90% retro satisfaction.

The stool is made from all metal and uses real metal fasteners (screws) the only thing i didnt like is that the hinges for the seat are plastic and thats the only part that is not metal. A bolt serves as the hinge pin and has to bridge that gap.

Cons

The first is still usable but the top of the backrest tore within the first month. The chair is not sturdy. Vinyl seat and back looks like it might rip easily.

The track for the steps is plastic and the steps don't slide in or out easily or evenly. The steps are not attached and simply set loose and slide around, as opposed to being attached and flip under the stool for storage. They constantly release from ... Read More

One of the legs has holes that have been drilled crooked, so the stool stands wonky. This is not only aggravating,it is also dangerous.

The retro counter chair / step stool is a great value for the price, and i'm so glad i made the investment.

There's several colors to choose from but this color was on sale.

I ordered the red one and it adds a beautiful "pop" of color to my kitchen!
