The cutout at the back is great for electrical cords. Even with those inconveniences, i'd buy these again in a heart beat because of the sleek look. Great for sonos speakers.

The base of my diy plant is about 5lbs the total thing is probably 8lbs and i’m not the least bit concerned about the shelf falling

I was missing a couple of washers and had to fashion a replacement out of a piece of a felt bumper pad
