Some reviewers have said that the edges of the covers they received were frayed but the ones i received appear to have had the edges heat treated or fused in some way so that under normal usage they should hold up adequately well

Maybe a little too big for the keypad so that it gets stuck in the hinge sometimes and hangs over the edge if you try to avoid that

Unfortunately it is a little small for the macbook air however it covers the keyboard completely so the screen is protected from that
