Pros
The filter is of better quality as well and my coffee is smoother and more flavorful then before. It saturates all the beans with the first soak pour, which seems to add a bit more coliur.

Together they make the best cup of coffee i've ever brewed at home. It heats water super fast. Bamboo collar makes it w easy to pour when hot. It takes a little while to become steady while holding the kettle.
Cons
The tie that holds the wood sleeves on is very flaky. Taking the wooden sleeves in and off is a pain. The filter is a piece of junk. Not a good alternative to a press.

We boiled the water in our electric kettle and scooped the coffee grinds into the wire mesh container
