Pros

These are as advertised. Works wonderfully. People looking for mini-splits should be encouraged.

R32 is available to buy and has been since 2023 when i searched first time. I have a ram 3500 dully, a 41' fifth wheel, and changing tires requires one. The local distributor priced me one unit it was the same price as two costway mini splits.

My only concerns at this time are any bending required of the copper piping. Nothing hasexploded or burnt up yet. Now, i have a coil of half-inch copper and i will try my test bending again.

Cons

Product was professionally installed and quit cooling/heating after 3 weeks. Costway support is like talking to a bot. It is frustrating.

Customer service is virtually nonexistent! They are unable to find parts for the brand. Still cannot be used. No help from seller. Steer clear of this product and anything manufactured by costway.

Amazon advertises the unit covers 1250 sq. Ft. Basically a room air conditioner. The heat is equivalent to a small space heater. Don’t buy this unit.

Light weight, easy install, and it works and looks great!

These are easy to install and work great.

They have been screwed in with 3" industrial screws, and i can guarantee they are solid.

Anything left exposed will be destroyed within 2 years in the sun, the pipe insulation and the drain line will turn to dust.

Price

Plus they save a lot on the electricity cost.

All in all for the price - this was exactly what my house needed to keep cool this summer.

All in all this project cost us $2400.

We just got it installed today and the guy charged us $900 for materials.

Shipping

Two boxes arrived two days apart from each other in good shape.

They were quick to ship another one.

The shipment did come in 2 separate boxes 1 day apart.

Packaging/appearance

The unit comes in 2 separate boxes and included everything i needed to get it up and going.

I wrapped the tubing, signal cord and water drain pipe all together with the supplied vinyl tape.

The unit came damaged call customer support.

The first box contained the vent and the second contained the ac.

Competitiveness

I have a 18000btu of a different brand on the other side of the house.

I would compare it directly with any other top brand as of now .

It does a better job than the 18000 unit which cost more.
