I wouldnt recommend leaving the purifier in the kitchen due to grease in the air that can contaminate the filter in the long run but one of the best features is the automatic sensors knowing if your air needs some extra filtering due to smoke grease in the air from cooking or a sudden change of air flow from a windowdoor opening

I would recommend facing the air intake outwards for maximum filtering instead of having the logo side face outwards

When we opened this unit out of the box we forgot to remove the plastic from the two filters inside

Then we took the unit downstairs and removed the plastic bags that covered both of the filters
