Amazon needs to do a better job with fly-by-night sellers making junk that cannot be serviced or returned. But the cooling down takes a long time and doesn’t stay cool.

I have it in a 30x 15 florida room with no ac and it keeps it 70s.
Other costway air cooler models have larger water tanks but are also larger units.
The costway air cooler ep23666 is the second or third size from the smallest unit.

The fatal flaw in this particular unit is that the casters refused to go into the holes

It took me well over an hour to enlarge the holes with makeshift tools and finally got the casters most of the way in using large pliers as the little wrench is useless

Furthermore leaving off the casters wont work because their height is essential to clear functional parts on the bottom of the unit

The most infuriating defects are the kind that are missed by quality control hardly worth returning the item for yet essential to the operation and if your diy fix doesnt work you are stuck with a costly return shipping bill unless the vendor qualifies for amazon prime which costway doesnt despite their great prices

Of course i ran it on high so its beeping started around 830am water level too low for cooler
