Even though it is waterproof it doesnt have that crinkly crunchy stiffness to it that other waterproof padding does

The underside is not a thin plastic its somehow attached to the top pad and should not easily rip when laundered

First reason for docking one star is there was kind of a weird smell with my cover but it seems to be dissipating after a couple of days
