Pros

Cpr v5000 works with ooma telo system. Blocks the 800 number scams. My caller id works perfectly with it.

It's perhaps foolish, but i get a sense of enjoyment, getting back at an unwanted invader of my attention and privacy. I estimate it has reduced unwanted calls by.

Cons

Caller id shows the spoofed number not the phone number that actually originated the call. It's impossible to block by number since most of the digits are random. For cpr blocker to be effective it needs to block the originating phone.

I have had a number of these over the years and they are easy to use and very effective at limiting robocalls.

It is easy to use and cuts down on most of the spam calls my parents get on their landlines.

Those that i add manually (6 in 3 months) are fake internet generated numbers which are difficult to detect.

Our junk calls have been reduced 80% and even that number continues to go down.

I wanted to try the call blocker for a long time, but didn't want to spend the money.

It was a little more on amazon but free shipping made the price the same as phone company which wanted $20 to ship.
