Pros

The quality of this new shop vac exceeds the 35 yr old vac. Highly recommend. Hz standard american plug.

Cons

There was nothing in the instructions at all about such a situation. Tried another outlet…still dead. Do not try to change indoors. It was used in the house only.

The 16 gallon craftsman shopvac has poor suction. If the blower output could be turned off then there would be good functionality to this machine.
