Pros & Cons
Pros
This set is a little pricier than others on amazon, but i know that craftsman stands by its products. The handles are sturdy and the rubber straps are thick and have good grip.
The instructions say to follow the arrow that is imprinted on the device. Works well. Follow the instruction.
Cons
Used strap wrench and handle broke. Broke during first use trying to unscrew the head of a flashlight. Probably good for unscrewing lids from jars.
Craftsman makes garbage now. Or kobalt are better quality now. Useless piece of junk.
Highlights
Quality
These seem to be well made and have very good grip.
I chose craftsman for the quality and it works well
The rubber and handle grips anything cylindrical and translates a huge amount of torque.
The issue is the poor quality of materials used in newer faucets that allows corrosion between the spout attachment and the faucet base.
Price
I may never use it again, but without it, i’d have had to pay a plumber at least $100, so it was money well spent.
Tool was well worth the price, even if i never use it again.
Shipping
Took a while to get, but glad to finally have them.
Packaging/appearance
I used the smaller one and it was easier to remove the faucets than it was to get these out of the plastic packaging!
Suicide trying to open the plastic packaging.
