Pros

Craftsman is a trusted brand. Very good price and was particularly surprised with the outstanding quality. The only thing is my palm gets sore when using it.

Now that sears is winding down, it's nice to get craftsman tools online. Has decent power, stays on track well.

The cmew213 is a great belt sander. It does a great job of sanding and has good power. Easy to use and change sanding belts.

First and third slats from the left are what the slats looked like before sanding. We sanded the deck, the rails, the columns, two huge old tables. Holds the sandpaper firmly.

This belt sander catches most of what you sand off. If you're painting or staining, you will still need to vacuum or sweep to get the finer dust off.

Constantly adjusting belt to stay on & bearing noise… very disapointed

I would not recommend using it for real heavy duty jobs, like sanding a floor.

Mine came in an open box with no paperwork and a 60grit belt installed.
