Pros

For some reason some wheels have lug luts with caps on them like my wife’s 2013 chrysler town and country. Used them a few times on rusted bolts, common on older toyota's. Pounded the correct sized extraction socket onto mangled nut.

Cons

The metal that it's made from is inferior. It doesn't 'bite' into the frozen bolt but it just slips and gets rounded itself. This is the only reason i bought the whole set because i needed one for a lug nut 19mm.

Now that i've had them, i've used them on all sort of rounded off bolts - they work extremely well and are still of good quality!

My first use with the #9, i was ready to ship it back as didn't work at all.

As fas as quality, it's a craftsman hand tool.

Price

That would have cost me more money than this set did so i ended up saving money!

I stripped the 17mm bolt on my caliper with a socket.

Underneath the cap, the nut rusts and causes this cap to swell.

I bought this to remove stripped out 12 point bolts on a origanal wheel bearing assembly on a 02 jeep cherokee, up here in the rust belt!
