Pros & Cons
Pros
The unit is very sturdy and the battery lasts longer than my shoulders. The two sizes of v20 batteries i use are both much lighter than the very massive batteries my stihl saw uses, and even the smaller v20 battery allows me to do quite a bit of tree-... Read More
Easy to put together and easy to assemble. I saved more in one day of its use than what i paid for it. I have a disability and it was easy for me.
Cons
One of the pins keeps going in and neet to pull it out with a nail, finally decided to put a tooth pick, which kind of keeps the pin extended out so the connections can touch. No battery charge. Maybe the one i got is a defective item.
The pole is not a shaft, it's just an electric connection. There's no bar oil reservoir. My other pole saw is a gas powered stihl.
I feel the info is very deceptive. This is not. Silly me. No rime or reason.
Highlights
Quality
Easy assembly, option of using additional extension or not, cuts quiet and smooth.
The reach is outstanding, it works smoothly and efficiently, breaks down easily and works like a charm.
It is not heavy and the battery charge gives you many cuts
I bought one off of ebay and the battery's where drain and could not charge them
Price
Much better than the price would make me expect.
A regular gas powered pole saw would cost $700 to $800 dollars and is heavy.
If an option is available with oiler for $15 or so more, i would advise that.
But overall it does a good job, especially for the price.
Competitiveness
For the price, it is a good purchase compared to other brands but i wish it were more sturdy and less floppy.

However be careful when using the extension attachment

It flexes quite a bit and if the saw gets stuck too high on a tree you may end up in a pickle and will need to find a way to retrieve it
