Pros

Lately it seems that everything is rechargeable and has a usb charger. Comes with a case and has spots for unit batteries plus 1 extra set. It seems sturdy and i appreciate the inclusion of batteries.

Auto leveling unit. Unlike some he's used, there are very noticable red dots. It's fun to have your world be level, plumb, and accurate. We have a different (green) laser leveler and the green is honestly better but the price difference is huge.

Unit has three 1/4inch, 20-thread mounting holes, very handy with tripods. Mount is solid if a bit clunky. The clamp opens wide - almost 3 inches and has detents for curved items, such as pipes.

Cons

There is warranty info, but it's heavily caveated. Nowhere in the product area is a link to the manual. That's inexcusable. You have to go to the corporate site and surf, and surf…and surf, with no success.
