For serious work it would be better to have dedicated straight and bent inner and outer retention ring pliers

They are actually the same as the channellock 927 presumably craftsman contracts the manufacture to channellock which usually sell for a bit less but i happen to prefer the handle grips on these so im willing to pay a couple bucks more for the craftsman version

Even though i needed mini snapring pliers those that i have or that are available are simply not wellmade and do not work properly
