Pros

The frame looks authentic for the mid-1800s without costing as much as a genuine antique. The quality is worth the price paid. They have a vintage feel and they're quite sturdy.

It works particularly well with the reproduction photo. I know the description is truthful that it contains acrylic facing which is crystal clear by the way.

Cons

The photos are a bit misleading if you are ordering poster size. There wasn't any room for a piece of glass and padding on the back. Not only is the outer edge of these frames not even 12 inches by 16 inches.

The back of the frame is just a piece of cardboard- the shipping quality type of cardboard, not even a cork piece or wood. The back peeled when my husband attached the hardware. I think they said it shipped so they could deny the cancellation.
