Pros

This awesome product allows me to do both. The great thing is that i have used it with my 2nd graders and it has been a game changer. They react very well to water and are great for sketches.

Draw and the. Wet a paint brush to turn into a new piece of art. You dip the pencil in water, go over the drawing and it turns into a watercolor masterpiece. This is awesome youll draw and just use a brush.

Cons

These pencils are horrible to color with! Very disappointing for a crayola product. Im scared to even attempt to use the rest of them due to afraid they too will break off and be like the yellow.

I like that these color pencils have a nice amount of pigment and work really well by dipping the tips in water before use.

After dot painting the design, these pencil marks come off easily with a dampened cloth or q-tip.

Had no problems getting the pigment to blend out, though there is some chalkiness and looks like the binders might not fully dissolve.

Price

For a 24 set of watercolor pencils, it was great price for this quality.

Being on a budget is something i struggle with, and yet this wasnt a worry for me since the price is just right.

Next time i’ll spring for the higher price point because you can tell these aren’t the best, but for kids or beginners i’d recommend 🌸🎨

On time and can’t go wrong with crayola.

Packaging/appearance

However, the box was partially opened and i only received 23 of the 24 colors.

My only negative was my disappointment when i realized only 14 of the 15 packs i ordered came.

Competitiveness

Would certainly buy again over more expensive brands.
