Pros & Cons
Pros
The tips seem to be less flat/pointier/finer. They're easy to hold for both of us, and they're just as pigmented as any other crayola crayon. They are both very into coloring but tend to snap the "regular" crayons.
The idea of retractable/twistable crayons is genius. You just twist it when you need the crayon to come out more. Twistable crayons lasts a long time.
Cons
Even after sharpening, the point wears down quickly. While the crayon goes back in, it slides back out while attempting to use it. Box was damaged, smashed and ripped.
Not using them as a christmas gift for my grandchild. Idea is good, execution, not so much. Useless and a waste of money. I only recommend for older children who will use gently.
These are like trying to color on wax paper. Trying to color with these is like using an actual candle. I like to shade and gradiate color - it’s nearly impossible with the twistables.
The other thing i didn’t like about the twistables is they are easily breakable. They break inside the tube and fall out. They are unusable once broken.
Highlights
Quality
Love this product & i recommend it to everyone.
The photo shown is with the mini-crayola's only, but they work well for blending pastels.
Competitiveness
Seems cheaper and more affordable to buy 24 count mini twistable crayons.
These are great crayon's, they dont break like the original crayola's as they are in a twistable sleeve.
They were also interested in being twistable.
