The colors are bright and bold but my son ends up with a * rash when he uses this chalk. They break way too easy. The chalk in my box was broken upon arrival.

I like that the crayola chalk had more colors but to be honest some of the more colorful ones not pastels didnt show up as bright as i thought they might on the sidewalk
