I'm using it offline (my computer isn't close enough to my ender to connect the usb-c cable) with a micro sd card. It works just fine with grbl as the device type. Worked perfect with the software lightburn.
Just something to think about getting into the laser hobby. While that isn't a reason to buy, it is a welcomed bonus!

Literally hang the bracket slide the laser head on and plug the falcon controller into the laser and x y steppers and limit switches

Took longer to figure out using lightburn than installing the laser
