Injection-molded plastic drawer for the supplied tools, screws, etc. Favorite part is the top mount spool holder. Temperature parameters sometimes need to be tweaked.

Both use silent stepper drivers. Vax over at the youtube. Com. A screw in thermistor is on the way and upgraded cooling fans are next.

I have plenty of them, so for me, it was a no-brainer. Works fine. It shipped to me pretty fast. They are kind and responsive to your questions.

Cons

Ender 3 pro is a decent beginner's printer but unfortunately, the customer support from creality is subpar. Not terrible, but not great. Obviously my printer is a cr-10 se!

The printer is currently an oversized paperweight after less than a month. This recycled piece of plastic that is being passed off as a printer is getting boxed back up and returned. It is not worth the effort or expense to fix a 200.

Gantry is of a poor design, three sided extrusions. Extrusion has issues pushing globs or too little at random times. The extruder stepper motor that came with my machine is not the same as advertised on all their machines.

I was recommended to get a printer by my professor but didn't want to drop $600 on one.

The value is off the charts with this printer

Overall, it's an outstanding unit, especially considering the price.

Shipping

The first machine had to be shipped back.

Delivery was very fast but was totally blown away with not only the price but how big the unit was.

Packaging/appearance

The packaging was solid, and the instructions, along with helpful videos, ensure a smooth setup process.

I did print the test cat with the out of the box filament and it came out perfect.

We unpacked this one and it works!

Competitiveness

I gave the what i considered the better one, the elegoo and kept the creality.

Seriously, you cannot find a better starter printer for 2x this price.

The creality is a nice unit, in my opinion, i just think the elegoo engineers just did a little better engineering job.

I used the creality slicing software for the first month and eventually switched to cura.
