This is the first direct bolt on that interfaces with the firmware. The camera comes with the one screw to install it. Installation is one screw and plug in the cable.
Cons
The firmware expects the lidar sensor, which is on the max, but not for sale for this printer as of yet. The videos given are poorly lit from the interior lights, and mostly out of focus. It no longer appears in the software or the web interface.

This is a very easy installation, takes just a couple of minutes, then enable the camera in the settings of your k1 printer.
The k1 is already prewired for the camera and all you have to do is open the clamp holding the wire on the front right side of the printer.
I also have had it not shut off when filament stopped going into the extruder and it printed for hours with nothing.
Price
If you have a k1, this is definitely worth the $25-$30.

Competitiveness
It's a bit of a pain to install, it's more expensive than other webcams, and the quality isn't the best for the price.
What i particularly appreciate is that setting it up with the k1 was very easy.

I bought a creality k1 printer and it works great however i could not monitor the progress of my print like my bambu lab x1 carbon

The install took less than 10 mins with a single screw and plugging in the camera

You need to set up the camera in the settings menu of the k1 but thats just a couple of clicks

Camera shows the printing as it happens via a phone so you can be watching from somewhere else in the house
