Pros

K resin printing is awesome if you like sculpting! It prints very well, after getting it dialed in i test printed some skeletons & zombies at. The detail it can print is great and offers quality that will impress even seasoned printers.

A single twist bolt holds the build plate to the armature. The build plate attachment to the lift mechanism is symmetrical, meaning you can put it back on 180 degrees opposite from how it was levelled.

Stand-out features are the dual rail for the build platform. The dual z-axis rails also ensure that the printer is stable and reliable.

It's usb2, so your speedy options are somewhat limited. Even though there's no wi-fi, you are supplied a flash drive from the manufacture.

Cons

Each time i try another print, all i get is a thin layer of cured resin along most of the resin tray and nothing sticking to the plate. The printer prints okay; however, you are unable to update the firmware. It has big layers and broken while printin... Read More

Creality products are not worth the time or money. Imo, creality is a terrible oem when it comes to their software. Buyer beware. Worthless company and customer service imo.

Update oct 14th:a new uv screen was sent to me, it arrived really fast, it was sent by dhl.

I decided to print the default image file that shipped with the printer.

The box contains everything you need to get started, and an extra fep which is pretty sweet.

As a thoughtful bonus, the package includes an extra fep filter, which serves as a vital barrier between the 8k screen and the resin.

The halot mage was incredibly easy to unpack and get setup.

Competitiveness

You can actually make prints that rival those made by fdm printers in size (if you can get them to stick to the build plate).

The creality mage, far superior to the halot one pro.

You can see from the pictures it dwarfs the halot one-plus as well as the elgoo saturn.
