Quality
I like the quality you can instantly feel the difference in quality if you had onboard audio.
The sound quality is great especially for the price.
I was initially tempted to throw in a cheap card thinking, well, it's only for the buttkicker so the audio quality isn't that important.
After 3 hours of hair pulling i discover it will not work with the front audio connector fitted to the card.
Price
At this reasonable price, i'd have no hesitation recommending this soundcard.
Competitiveness
Glad i bought it, worth it for the price alone.
In future, this will be the first insistence on a specced pc and not an afterthought.
Also pin control panel to your taskbar as you will need to tinker with settings in the sound panel.

The eq software is nice and intuitive and easy to use and the only thing you have to remember to do before instlling is to disable the onboard sound devices in device manager on the pc

The only minor gripe with this card is the drivers from creative are incompatible with windows 10 and will not play the sound on various music files or some youtube videos always the same ones so must be down to bitrates the solution is to let it use microsoft drivers
