I've upgraded from the pebble v3 and the sound is fuller and meatier without sacrificing the treble or the mid.
I highly recommend adding an additional 30 watts of power to enhance its performance; you'll find the improvement to be worthwhile.
Without external power the speakers will sound very bland and unimpressive.
The x's sound better, louder and have more bass, creative nailed the tuning, because the sound is very rich and has dept.
Price
The customizable lighting is a nice bonus, and the price point is attractive.

Without that its fine but the pd port helps a ton
