The kit comes with a 2 page sheet of instructions. There is probably a cheaper way to get colored sand and do this, but the kit is convenient and a fun gift.
Great xmas gift or anytime gift. Price is a little high, but it keeps them occupied for a while.
Wrapping a towel around a paint stirrer worked great. You glue it all together when you are done and it never spills. A foam top seals in the sand and keeps it from spilling or shifting.
Using the sand was fun and therapeutic. This is a great activity for a rainy day or a day when your child is sick or when you are just stuck at home.
Cons
No glue stick in box. Not worth the price. Too small. Extremely disappointed. Not sure why, but there were no stickers included in the box.

Great quality, fun for the kids, good design, adorable project.
Also, i don’t feel super comfortable with the cover, so i’m waiting for the day when this becomes a hot sandy mess.

They leak easily so i recommend you add on a stronger waterproof glue around the edges prior to filling with water
