Pros

Ergonomic handle feature. Works better for gripping a rounded surface, like a valve cap. Hard plastic is much more forgiving than metal.

Made in taiwan, so likely a quality product. These are all very well molded which at this price is very unexpected. All in all this is a fantastic value.

Use them to open tight vaping tanks. Any aviation mech needs a good pair of cannon plug pliers.

Cons

These plumbing piers do not clinch anything. This has only 3 jaw width positions to lock into.

These pliers are well made with a fairly wide jaw range.

Not reliable at gripping, tends to slip while trying to unscrew a joint.

And the hard plastic is much more forgiving than metal; and so , won't scratch it all up.

So the pliers were the best bargain we found.

A bit pricey, but it works and is worth it.

I did get a bit of grief from a member of the household for spending what she thought was a lot of money on plastic jaw grips.
