Though its described as an adult snorkel there is no safety warning for children or indication of at what age it is safe for use

The first two times i snorkeled it was with plastic straight tubes that flooded my mouth with water anytime a drop got bear the top

I went way under water then blew out of it when i got closer to the surface and there was either no water in the snorkel or the tiniest amount

A few years ago i probably wouldnt have noticed this at all but ive since purchased a us divers snorkel for my wife thats actually fairly inexpensive but they make a rounder design with polycarb tubing and the airflow was exceptional with no drag and quiet no breathing feedback
