Pros & Cons

Pros

Cressi apache lionfish 45 edition seems ok although i haven't tried it yet on planned shallow reef dive. The spear is good quality. It has 2 notches on the spear so i started out on the first notch, bad idea need more power.

This is a good little snapper gun if you have the right expectations. Well made, shoots straight, and packs a punch. Great beginner gun.

Cons

The issue for me, is that the speargun doesn't accept reels except maybe for ur novice kid or something. No reel. Took spear out for 1st try. Followed instructions (pictures only) wasn’t easy.

The reviews all seemed to indicate that it was a reliable, quality speargun that was a good choice for beginners.

Unfortunately, i decided not to do any spearfishing due to the recent green algae issues in california and returned the product.

I purchased the cressi apache spear gun along with the cressi reel that is supposed to fit (all) cressi spearguns .

Competitiveness

False, it does not fit cressi apache at least not without modified work done to it like adding a female attachment and drilling holes.

The bolt seemed to be durable as welland just took a minor resharpening job after the trip.
