The snorkel valve works well but it is very difficult to remove when you want to put it back in the packet for transporting it

Having seen my daughter try this several times i can tell you that if it either steams up or lets water in youre fitting it wrong

Only problem as stated by other reviewers if you over exerte yourself it can be a problem getting enough air
