I love the mask and the snorkel and the quick release for the snorkel works very well and makes for quick placement without fuss.
I always rinse after being in the ocean and all of the rubber and plastic have held up excellent for the past 4 years.
The fins have been tough on our feet and i am slowly stepping through different booties with hopes of finding the right setup.

I went long fin although only for snorkeling because i wanted lots of thrust for efficient travel without using too much energy

Many people have posted that a 3mm neoprene is the way to go but i find that a think bootie makes my feet cramp and i am currently using a 2

I would not recommend these as a snorkeling set for a beginner however if you are looking for an upgrade and have similar goals as stated above these are a great choice

I use split fins but recently borrowed my sons cressi frog plus fins for a river dive
