Face shapes vary and if id tightened it enough to leave marks it might still have happened since it it was happening from the bottom and not the sides

Id recommend to wash the mask thoroughly with soap before using since there is some sort of silicone oil or similar on its surface which makes it difficult to get spit demisting to work
