    My mat was getting filthy and was not sticky enough so i decided to to try the contact paper trick thats wellknown on the internet

    I bought the duck brand from walmart which is pretty affordable and i cut out a 12x12 piece and placed it face down on the mat with the removable printed part facing up

    Its a bit of a pain after a few cuts when you want to remove the contact paper as it gets cut along with your fabric so its in pieces
