Pros

This is definitely a good bike for starting and messing around, but if you are a serious rider then this is definitely not for you. Cm is perfect for my size (5'7, 29 inseam) saddle is pretty comfy.

I live in chicago which is flat and fixie heaven. The fixed gear is great if you live where it's flat. The price is cheap and shipping is fast.

It has the front wheel break as shown which comes in handy, but to really stop you do have to back-pedal. Took off the paddle straps, just my personal preference.

Cons

Not the end of the world on a beater bike, but disappointing. However, i have no doubt someone new to riding would probably have crashed and severely injured themselves. Really think the tires should be built to be more durable than this.

Paint is a bad braking surface and does not stop well and will eventually wear through. Grips has these weird yellowish stains on them and one of the decals was peeling.

I also pulled of the not so attractive critical cycles sticker, it left a sticky residue that i've been too lazy to properly clean off.

Competitiveness

Its not a high end bike by any means but it has much better build quality than most of other fixie bikes with similar price range.

Aside from those issues this bike is awesome for the price, with a few minor upgrades this bike is just as good as an expensive fixie.
