Despite the confusing instructions and lack of good pictures i finally figured how to attach this bike rack to my car without hooking it onto the plastic bumper only to find that my womens style bike wont fit in on the rack

For long distances highway traveling or expensive bikes a sturdier more expensive option is probably better
