Pros
The robo grip is great for gripping nuts and holding nuts with no slippage. Used my existing along with this one to tighten an aquarium plumbing leak.

I love how easily they adjust and how sturdy they are.
The old one was a very strong gripping tool that when, after 15 years of use, finally "lost it grip".
Was looking for the craftsman robo grip pliers but they are discontinued.

I am finding this crl robo-grip 10" straight jaw pliers to be identical to the tool i bought 15 years ago.
My last robo-grip tool lasted more than 20 years, and i couldn't find it (or anything like it) at my local box stores.

In the end i returned these robogrips because they were much larger than the smaller version and much larger than what i needed

This is the tool that seems to fit into a category of its own

Its seems to have the dna of a vise grip channel lock pipe wrench and a pair of pliers
