The patterns in this book are gorgeous and accessible for many skill levels. A good variety of patterns, even for a beginner. As is typical of dk books, this one is lushly photographed, both the techniques and the projects.

An index, acknowledgements, about the consultant are also included. I like that the introductory sections show all the various tools and implements mentioned. There are projects for each level, also beautifully illustrated.

The instructions are very easy to follow, which i find really important in a crafting book. There are plenty of helpful diagrams and lots of photos, and the steps are explained well. Great pictures help in the learning process. Easy to follow pictures... Read More

This kindle version is not up to par. Words are too small and can't change font size. That means i cannot bookmark those patterns i want to come back to later.
