Pros

The interior is smooth and even and the borders with the rim are sharp. This is the kind of pan you can invest in and use for the rest of your life. I feel like my grandchildren will still be using this one.

I love the way it browns, sautéed, poaches! This skillet is great for frying up fresh veggies or browning meat. Recommend this for anyone interested in cooking with cast iron.

The handles on the pot are smooth and very sturdy. The lid handle is a beautiful brassy color. It has a brass handle for the lid and a silicone cover to protect your fingers from heat. This thoughtful accessory helps to prevent burnt hands.

The enamel makes them easy to clean and nonstick from day one. Once you're done that clean up is a breeze, deglaze as you normally would. Take a stiff bristled brush and gently scrub away anything left from cooking.

The pot is a nice size between a saucepan and a stockpot. The self-basting lid with raised nubs ensures optimal steam retention.

Cons

It now has chip of the enamel coating flaking off the pan. I am very disappointed that the coating is chipping in such a short time.

My problem is not with the pan, but with the box it was shipped in.

The packaging was impressive, ensuring the pan arrived in perfect condition.

Some details - this pot arrived very well packaged and in great shape.

It was in a box with cardboard spacers and cushioning and that was inside a thicker box completely lined with styrofoam.

It looked like ups had to tape the entire box.

It does batch other teal colored crock pot brand products in the series.

This easily compares to much higher priced cookware.
