On the 3rd use in 5 months, i plug it in -- after getting everything ready for stew -- and nothing -- won't come on. If you want something reliable, it isn't this crock pot.

This one is great, smaller size for just 2, and if we need to take it, the clamping top is perfect.
The locking lid is handy for taking meals to church for potluck, and such like.
After wathing the series this is us, and the crock pot episode we decided it was time to toss and replace.
We had a crock pot for years, only issue was it would never go to low setting, so we just dealt with it.

I did attempt baked beans but it cant beat a bean pot in the oven for that
