Pros

This crock pot is worth every penny.

The auto shut off is literally life saving. The programmable feature is awesome. It cleans so easily! It also has a way to wrap up the cord when you're done.

Cons

Do not buy this potentially unsafe product. It’s my opinion that you’d be wiser to spend the money on a reputable quality product as opposed to this deplorable product. They've already stopped stocking replacement parts for it.

Uneven cooking is not good, and i do wish i had control over the timing. Timer is set for exact hours, not adjustable. I cannot set it to cook at my desired temp for my desired time.

Have had it through thick and thin almost fifteen years now and it still works great with minimal scratches and nothing broken.

Our old crock-pot, a hand me down from my mother in-law, finally bit the dust, the handle broke, and the plastic lid cracked.

The lid claps tight and even with soup there are no leaks ever.

This crock pot was a value and met my expectations.

This crock pot is worth every penny.

Amazon price was excellent—only a few dollars more than original bought over 15 years ago.

I bought it when i was a teen and it only cost $35.

I had one of these before and it took forever to find a new one.

Packaging/appearance

Nice touch they added the ability to wrap the cord up like you do on a vacume cleaner.

I converted the heavy duty box it came in to a carrier settled on the floor (to avoid sliding) of the carrying area in back of car.

Competitiveness

Other models can be found priced better, but i prefer crockpot brand.
