Pros

As the unit heats the gasket on the lids softens and conforms to the crock. The 7 qt capacity allows me to expand meal size if i wish.

Settings are perfect. No problems, no questions, just apologies for my inconvenience. Works as should. Delivered sooner than expected and works like a dream!

Cons

I know the sides can get hot but not hellfire hot. The handles are made of metal and seriously heat up to the point of burning your hands. There is a small (emphasis on small) rubber handle grip, but it is very narrow.

This one doesn't. It cooks way to hot on low. It also continues to boil on the warm setting.

Got this for a great price for my daughter for christmas.

Was looking for a cheaper crockpot to keep in the camper for the price it is worth it.

Competitiveness

The ceramic insert is a little heavy, but much better quality than competitor products.

I replaced an “off brand” crockpot with this one.
