Pros

This crockpot is perfect for making dips and small dishes. I heat milk in it using the microwave and it holds the temperature till the yogurt sets. A group of us make pine needle baskets and it strengths the basket and adds a beautiful shine.

Great buy. You just plug it in and it works! The wax is the last step. Love this product. Saves me steps to do other things.

Cons

This crockpot has a major defect - no heat settings. It has one heat setting - boiling. There was no way to touch any part of the crock pot without an oven mitt.

It's not at all like my 30 year old rival that just died. Barely gets hot. Barely kept hot dips hot.

I love the small size and great quality.

Perfect for this use and can wax 3-4 chains easily.

After an hour shut it off and let it cool for another half an hour or so when the wax starts to harden then hang the chain.

One setting, no off function - only unplug.

Price

Loved it for the price, performs fine just sad it doesn’t have a temperature adjustment, lid fit nice on top, and size is perfect for dips!

Packaging/appearance

Popped a bag of silca chain wax in there and this unit had it nice and toasty ready for waxing chains.
