All the heat dissipates through the outer metal shell and doesn't allow the ceramic insert to heat properly. Outside feels cheap. Only good thing is its size for larger meals. Do not recommend.

I wanted this size crockpot and it is durable, heats well and looks clean and "sleek".
Settings and didn't burn our cheese dip like the larger one did.
This was purchased to replace a crock-pot cooker that ceased to word after more than 16 years.
Price
This classic crock pot is a terrific value.
Happy with the size of the product and the price, but please note the amazon description for this listed an oval shaped 3 quart crockpot.

Ordered this as a markdown which stated 34minimal package damage34 it arrived with the box all taped up as it was falling apart but the pot has no external scratches only some scuffing on the crock but on the outside surprised that it was not put into another box for shipping
