Sometimes, we forgot to thaw the food from the freezer.

Like a real crock pot, it seems to work well if the food you are reheating has liquid in it. Oblong shape makes it easier to separate meats from veggies.

I use this mostly for my premade fresh meal subscription that has microwave and oven instructions. The only downside i can think of is if you forget to plug it in.

It's a little pricey but it pays off in my opinion. It’s so sturdy, i use it everyday.

There is no temperature adjustment knob, so everything gets heated at one temperature. This is not ideal when this contraption is holding hot food?
