The sprinkler time is well designed and well built.
The unit is solidly manufactured and seals the two enclosed batteries from outside moisture penetration.
What is special about this unit is its multiple station output from a single faucet input.
I'm my opinion it's way too high for a timer that doesn't have an option to regulate it in a remote location.
Price
I took a star off because of the price.
If this had that feature, i believe the price would be more appropriate at its current $46 price tag.
Half the price, more features and a great timer.
Competitiveness
There are many similar sprinkler timers that show less information.

I found the programming to be a bit nebulous until it finally became apparent that two of the channels could be turned off and once that was achieved the unit operated flawlessly

It would be nice if the unit had a method for increasing the intervals per day on an irregular basis instead of every 12 hours for 20 per cycle

This could be operator error on my part yet i found this issue to be difficult to resolve any further with the included instructions

I was seeking a timer with which i could grow the zones based on seasonal irrigating requirements and that was my reason for choosing this particular unit

However the one thing i don’t like is it does not allow you to have 3 different watering days for ea of the valves would only let me pick the same day for a 3 day watering schedule

You can set different times in the day to start i wanted to water my 3 zones at 5am so i ended up starting earlier and watering later in the day not ideal
